Tinubu Lauds France-Nigeria Business Council Meeting

President Bola Tinubu commended the recent 10th France-Nigeria Business Council meeting, which took place in Nairobi, Kenya, during the Africa Forward Summit. He stated that the partnership between Nigeria and France is moving from discussions to execution, with trade between the two nations projected to rise to $4.7 billion by 2025.

Nigeria remains the leading destination for French investment in Sub-Saharan Africa. Tinubu emphasized the need for the country to translate commitments into job creation and industrial growth, as well as infrastructure development for broader economic benefits.

The meeting was attended by key figures, including Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment Dr. Jumoke Oduwole and France's Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade Nicola Forissi, along with prominent business leaders such as Africa's richest man Aliko Dangote and Toni Elumelu.

Tinubu reiterated the administration's commitment to improving the business environment and supporting credible investors, marking a new phase in Nigeria's economic engagement with France.
