Omokri Thanks Tinubu for Mexico Ambassador Appointment

Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide, publicly thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his appointment as Nigeria's ambassador to Mexico in a Facebook post. Omokri described Tinubu as having "a heart of gold" and commended his leadership qualities, comparing him to Christ for his capacity to forgive and forbear.

He emphasized that Nigeria does not have a better leader at this time and expressed hope for the next five years under Tinubu's presidency. Omokri accepted the ambassadorial post with a pledge of loyalty to the constitution of Nigeria, acknowledging Tinubu as the custodian of the constitution and head of state.

Additionally, he thanked his foster parents, Esijolomi and Omerewumi, for their role in shaping his life. Omokri also mentioned a personal goal to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and hoist Nigeria's flag at the summit, indicating a commitment to representing Nigeria positively abroad.
