Tinubu Appoints 65 Ambassadors Including Omokri, Fani-Kayode

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of 65 ambassadors to represent Nigeria in various international missions, including the United Nations. The list comprises 31 non-career ambassadors and 34 career diplomats, announced in a statement by his special adviser on strategic communications, Bayo Onanuga, on Friday.

Notable appointments include Reno Omokri as Nigeria's ambassador to Mexico City and Femi Fani-Kayode as ambassador to Germany. Other significant figures appointed include former Minister of Health Isaac Adewole, former Deputy Governor of Rivers State Tele Ikuru, and various military and political figures.

The appointments are part of Tinubu's administration's efforts to enhance Nigeria's diplomatic presence across the globe. The full list includes ambassadors to countries such as South Africa, Spain, Israel, Qatar, and many others, reflecting a diverse representation aimed at strengthening international relations.
