ADC Criticizes Tinubu's Governance as Impunity Grows

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has condemned President Bola Tinubu's administration for what they describe as ruling Nigeria with impunity. Bolaji Abdullahi, the national spokesman for the ADC, expressed these views during an interview on Symfoni TV.

He stated that the current government has crossed numerous lines in governance, indicating a failure to uphold the principle of checks and balances among the executive, judiciary, and legislature. Abdullahi highlighted that this administration has not implemented the national budget, which he described as a law passed by the National Assembly.

He pointed out that the government is running three budgets simultaneously without implementation, leading to unbudgeted expenditures amounting to approximately 8.8 trillion naira. Abdullahi also criticized the government for disobeying court orders and undermining opposition political parties, asserting that these actions threaten the democratic framework of Nigeria.
