Ndume Critiques Tinubu's Inner Circle's Loyalty Issues

Ali Ndume, the Senator representing Borno South, expressed concerns regarding President Bola Tinubu's leadership during an interview with Trust TV. He stated that the people surrounding Tinubu are unable to tell him when he is wrong, which he believes is detrimental to governance.

Ndume noted that he has met with President Tinubu twice since he assumed office in 2023. He disclosed that 95% of those around the president depend on him, which he argues creates a situation where they cannot confront him with the truth.

Ndume warned that this dependency could lead to significant problems in governance, as it prevents honest feedback and accountability. He emphasized that without the ability to challenge the president, effective governance may be compromised.
