Tinubu to Launch APC Presidential Campaign Council on October 14

President Bola Tinubu is set to inaugurate the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council on October 14 at the Presidential Villa’s Banquet Hall in Abuja. Key figures involved include former Zamfara State Governor Abdulaziz Yari, who is the Director-General of the campaign council, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, and Dr Betta Edu.

Yari announced the inauguration following a meeting with the President, where they discussed the campaign timetable, which will kick off with a rally in Kaduna on October 24. In preparation, First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, alongside Dr Betta Edu and the Women Mobilisation directorate, is mobilizing women nationwide with a goal of engaging 40 million women voters for the Tinubu-Shettima ticket.

This initiative will cover 176,846 communities and polling units across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. The October 14 inauguration will formalize the campaign council's operations and coordinate activities leading up to the 2027 presidential election.
