Bola Tinubu Travels to Italy for Security Meeting on West Africa Crisis

Former Nigerian leader Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja for Rome on Sunday, embarking on his 35th foreign trip since assuming office in 2023. Tinubu will participate in the Aqaba Process meeting focusing on security crises in West Africa, with discussions on counter-terrorism initiatives and strategies.

The meeting, co-chaired by King Abdullah II of Jordan and the Italian government, aims to address evolving security challenges in the region. Tinubu will also engage in bilateral talks to address rising security concerns in West Africa.

He will be accompanied by national security adviser Bianca Ojukwu Odumegwu.
