Tinubu Advocates Long-term Planning for Nigeria's Growth

On Tuesday, President Bola Tinubu addressed stakeholders from Enugu State, led by Governor Peter Mbah, at the State House in Abuja. He attributed Nigeria's developmental challenges to the lack of serious long-term planning by past administrations, particularly in financing infrastructure projects.

Tinubu criticized the tendency to fund long-term projects with short-term resources, which he believes has significantly hindered sustainable development. Despite these challenges, he expressed optimism about Nigeria's trajectory under visionary leadership at the subnational level.

He commended Governor Mbah for his efforts in utilizing resources effectively and aligning with the APC, which he sees as a positive step towards transforming Enugu State. Tinubu reaffirmed his commitment to working collaboratively to build a prosperous Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of health, education, and infrastructure in achieving this goal.

He also acknowledged the support from the Enugu delegation and the need for collective efforts to realize the Nigerian dream.
