Tinubu Inaugurates Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge in Lagos

On October 25, 2023, President Bola Tinubu inaugurated the Ojota-Opebi link bridge in Lagos State, a 5.04-kilometer transport corridor aimed at alleviating traffic congestion and enhancing economic opportunities. The project was delivered during the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who highlighted its importance for improving the quality of life for Lagos residents.

Tinubu, who served as governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007, praised the current administration's commitment to sustainable development and effective project delivery. The inauguration ceremony included notable figures such as Segun James, Gboyega Akosile, Godswill Akpabio, and Hope Uzodinma.

The bridge is designed to improve vehicular movement and includes features such as walkways, bicycle lanes, and solar-powered street lights. Tinubu emphasized the need for data technology in land management and urged the state to continue its efforts in addressing infrastructural challenges, thereby strengthening the state's capacity to deliver services to its citizens.
