“Tinubu not sick, still at work” – Aides react to report on president’s illness

President Bola Tinubu's aides have refuted claims of his illness, stating that he is not sick and is still actively working. The International Centre for Investigative Reporting (ICIR) alleged that Tinubu was bedridden and his medical team was preparing to fly him abroad for urgent treatment, based on an unnamed source.

However, AbdulAziz AbdulAziz, a senior assistant to Tinubu, called the report false and misleading, with no truth to it. Another aide, Bayo Onanuga, special adviser on information strategy, also dismissed the report as mere rumors, emphasizing that Tinubu is currently in his office attending to state matters.

Tinubu's aides maintain that he is not sick and continues to work either from his office or home.
