Megida Predicts Tinubu's Victory in 2027 Election

Alhaji Ibraheem Alao Megida, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Director-General of the Mainland Independent Group (MIG), stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure a significant victory in the 2027 presidential election. He criticized opposition politicians for their attempts to weaken the APC, including reaching out to President Donald Trump, labeling these efforts as ineffective.

Megida referenced the recent elections, asserting that the opposition's poor performance indicates a strengthening support base for the APC. During a handing-over ceremony, he acknowledged Olatunji Bello, the group's patron, for his contributions, including the donation of branded vehicles to aid MIG's outreach in Lagos.

Megida noted Bello's history of community investment, including funding an auditorium at Lagos State University (LASU) and supporting initiatives for underprivileged residents. MIG Women Leader Alhaja Folashade Morenikeji and Chief Ahmod Babatunde Sanni emphasized the importance of the donated vehicles for grassroots voter engagement and urged the APC to enhance community outreach ahead of the 2027 elections.
