Tinubu Appoints Oseni as NERC Board Chair Amid Controversy

Former Lagos Governor Tinubu reconstituted the NERC board, appointing Musiliu Olalekan Oseni as chair. The move follows the dropping of Abdullahi Ramat's nomination.

Oseni, who has been with NERC since 2017, will lead alongside Vice Chair Yusuf Ali and other new board members. The appointment comes after a series of controversies and delays in the nomination process.

Senator Ademola Adeleke congratulated Oseni for his professional contributions to Nigeria's power sector.
