Tinubu Replaces NTA Leadership, Appoints Rotimi Pedro DG

Rotimi Richard Pedro has been appointed as the new Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) by veteran media executive, Tinubu. Pedro, a Lagos native with over three decades of experience in broadcasting, sports rights, and marketing communication, is set to lead the NTA alongside key officials including Karimah Bello, Stella Din, and Sophia Essahmed.

Pedro, who founded Optima Sports Management International in 1995, has worked with major organizations such as Bloomberg Television Africa, FIFA, UEFA, and Fremantle Media. His expertise in sports content distribution and marketing communication across Africa, the UK, and the Middle East is expected to bring a new era of growth and innovation to the NTA.

Pedro's appointment marks a significant milestone in the NTA's efforts to enhance its programming and reach a wider audience.
