Tinubu Reinstates NTA DG and Executive Director Amid Changes

President Bola Tinubu has reversed the appointment changes at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), reinstating Mr. Salihu Abdullahi Dembos as the Director-General and Mr.

Ayo Adewuyi as the Executive Director of News. The directive follows a brief vacancy in Dembos' position due to a management reshuffle at the agency.

Tinubu's decision ensures the completion of their tenures, with Adewuyi set to serve until the end of 2027. This move effectively overturns previous appointments made by the NTA management.

The reinstatements aim to maintain continuity and stability in the leadership of the state-owned TV network.
