Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Eid-el-Kabir Holiday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Abuja on Monday, following the Eid-el-Kabir holiday, with his plane landing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 5:17 PM. Upon his arrival, he was received by Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and Inspector General of Police Tunji Disu, along with other senior government officials.

Vice President Kashim Shettima and several traditional leaders also paid their respects. The Senate leadership, led by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and members of the Nigeria Governors Forum, including Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, were present.

Additionally, the APC gubernatorial candidate for Oyo State, Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, visited the President. On Monday, President Tinubu is expected to attend an international fleet review at Eko Atlantic City, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Nigerian Navy, where he will receive Romuald Wadagni, President of the Republic of Benin, to strengthen regional cooperation.
