Tinubu's Envoys to Atiku Rejected After Inauguration

Following his inauguration, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu made an early attempt to engage with opposition leaders, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. Daniel Bwala disclosed during an interview on Symphony TV that Tinubu sent emissaries to Atiku's residence to initiate dialogue aimed at fostering political engagement after the 2023 presidential election.

However, Atiku reportedly refused this overture, instructing that the envoys be denied access to his residence. Bwala emphasized that Tinubu made a deliberate effort to maintain communication with opposition figures amid political divisions.
