Tinubu to Honor Buhari with Tribute Book on Anniversary

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is preparing to honor former President Muhammadu Buhari with a special tribute book on the first anniversary of Buhari's death, which occurred on July 13, 2022, at the age of 82. The commemorative event will take place in Abuja and will feature the unveiling of the tribute book alongside an interfaith prayer for the repose of Buhari's soul.

Mustapha, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, disclosed that the event aims to honor Buhari's legacy, reflecting the values he stood for during his lifetime, particularly unity, discipline, and service to the nation. The tribute book, titled "Tribute: Condolence in Honor of Muhammadu Buhari," will be formally presented during the program and will contain messages from world leaders, diplomats, and senior government officials who had direct contact with Buhari throughout his public service.

The book is not intended for commercial purposes but is meant to preserve the memory of the late president, with copies distributed free of charge. The ceremony will provide an opportunity for individuals who worked closely with Buhari to publicly share their personal experiences and reflections on his life and leadership.
