Tinubu to Launch Book Honoring Buhari on Anniversary

President Bola Tinubu is set to unveil a commemorative book honoring former President Muhammadu Buhari as his family marks the first anniversary of his passing on July 13, 2025, at the age of 82. Mustapha, the chairman of the Central Planning Committee and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, disclosed this during a press briefing.

The memorial program aims to bring together Buhari's family, friends, associates, and government officials to honor his memory through interfaith and interdenominational prayers. The event will feature speakers who worked closely with Buhari, sharing personal experiences and reflecting on his historical legacy.

The book, which will not be sold or used for fundraising, will be distributed for free. Religious leaders from various faiths will lead prayers, and the occasion is intended to foster national unity and provide comfort to Buhari's family and admirers.
