Tinubu Praises Successful Elections in FCT, Rivers, Kano

On Sunday, Bola Tinubu, the President of Nigeria, praised the successful conduct of elections held on Saturday in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Rivers State, and Kano State, asserting that these events have further strengthened the country's democratic culture and institutions. He called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to continue enhancing its efforts to deliver exemplary electoral processes.

The elections involved six area councils in the FCT and state constituencies in Rivers and Kano. Tinubu congratulated the winners, urging them to serve with humility and dedication, reflecting the trust placed in them by the electorate.

He also acknowledged the contributions of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, for achieving political dividends in governance. Tinubu commended INEC and security agencies for their roles in ensuring a peaceful electoral process, highlighting the courage and discipline displayed during the elections.
