TNWSG Empowers 100,000 Women in Northern Nigeria

The Tinubu Northern Women Support Group (TNWSG) has initiated a strategic program aimed at empowering 100,000 women, particularly petty traders, across the Northern region of Nigeria. The announcement was made during a meeting in Abuja, led by the group's national coordinator, Hon. Aisha Aliyu Obalim.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to drive economic inclusion and support the re-election campaign of President Bola Tinubu. The program will provide financial grants designed to boost petty trade, ensuring that the funds directly support existing enterprises to enhance inventory and market reach.

TNWSG emphasizes that this initiative will not be a mere handout but will include structured support through a cluster model, where groups of fifty women will be overseen by designated leaders for effective monitoring and success tracking. The program aims to unlock the potential of hardworking women and transform their livelihoods, contributing to the economic growth of the Northern region as Nigeria approaches the 2027 general elections.
