Free JAMB Registration for 10,000 Ebonyi Students Launched

The Tinubu Support Group initiated a free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registration program for 10,000 students in Ebonyi State, as part of President Bola Tinubu's broader youth empowerment and educational reform agenda. Belusochukwu Enwer, the national coordinator of the group, announced the program during a flag-off ceremony on Tuesday.

The initiative is designed to eliminate financial barriers that prevent students from accessing tertiary education, aligning with Tinubu's Renew Hope Agenda, which prioritizes youth empowerment and educational advancement for national development. Enwer emphasized that the free registration scheme demonstrates the administration's commitment to ensuring that no qualified student is denied the opportunity to sit for the JAMB due to financial constraints.

The program is part of a broader federal intervention in the education sector, which includes measures to stabilize the academic staff union's salary issues and the introduction of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund to support students seeking higher education.
