Tinubu Dominates APC Presidential Primary with Massive Win

Bola Tinubu achieved a decisive victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary, as early results indicated massive support for his second-term ambitions ahead of the 2027 general elections. The primary, which took place across 8,809 wards on Saturday, involved direct voting by APC members at various polling centers.

Tinubu faced opposition from Stanlei Osifo Osayamen, who reportedly purchased the party's N100 million presidential nomination form. Initial figures from different parts of the country showed overwhelming votes in favor of Tinubu, with his Ikoyi ward in Lagos State recording 4,996 votes and his challenger receiving zero votes.

Similar outcomes were noted in several northern and southern states. The results sparked celebrations among APC supporters, reflecting a growing unity within the ruling party ahead of the next electoral cycle.

Tinubu expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the primary and commended APC governors for their roles in organizing the elections across the country.
