Tinubu Wins APC Presidential Primary in Lagos Landslide

Bola Ahmed Tinubu achieved a landslide victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary held on Saturday in Lagos. The election took place at Ireti Nursery Primary School in the Eti-Osa Local Government Area, where Tinubu garnered 4,996 votes from a total of 5,163 accredited voters.

The primary was marked by a massive turnout of party members and a strong security presence. Prominent APC leaders, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and former Finance Minister Wale Edun, monitored the exercise.

Tinubu arrived at the polling center at 11:35 AM, shortly after completing his accreditation. Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, the APC Lagos State Chairman, praised the peaceful conduct of the exercise and expressed gratitude for the support shown to Tinubu.

The outcome of this primary strengthens Tinubu's position as the APC's presidential candidate for the upcoming 2027 general elections.
