Tinubu Targets 98,000 Campaigners in Ondo State Push

President Bola Tinubu has directed the Renew Hope Ambassador group, led by Ondo State Coordinator Victor Olabimtan, to recruit 98,325 campaigners across 3,933 polling units in Ondo State. This initiative is part of a grassroots mobilization effort to support his re-election ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Each polling unit will recruit 25 individuals, who will be compensated for three months, with two months' pay made directly to them. The goal is to convince at least five voters per polling unit to support Tinubu.

The initiative, which was inaugurated in Akure, aims to bridge communication gaps and enhance public awareness of government policies. Olabimtan, who is also the chairman of the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board, emphasized that the creation of the Renew Hope Ambassador group will not disrupt existing Tinubu support groups in the state.

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is expected to fund the remuneration for the campaigners.
