Student Leaders Rally for Tinubu's 2027 Re-election Bid

Student leaders in Ondo State are actively mobilizing support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election as the 2027 presidential polls approach. The initiative, spearheaded by Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, involves various student leaders from tertiary institutions who are working to strengthen grassroots support for Tinubu.

During a gathering at the Asiwaju Mandate Group secretariat in Akure, Mayomi Adekany, the state chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students, announced that approximately 1,000 student leaders are participating in this mobilization effort. Ojo emphasized the importance of supporting Tinubu, citing his positive contributions while in office.

The Asiwaju Mandate Group, represented by Olumuyiwa Asagunla, is part of a broader strategy to engage critical stakeholders across the state, including commercial motorcyclists and other community segments, to promote Tinubu's second-term candidacy.
