Tinubu Told Us To Make New Houses Affordable – FHA MD

The Managing Director of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo, revealed that President Bola Tinubu instructed them to make new houses affordable. Ojo made this statement during the inauguration of the FHA Complex Express View Estate in Lugbe, Abuja.

The project is part of Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda for affordable housing. The FHA has already begun constructing the Renewed Hope Estate in 17 states, with the recent inauguration of 100 houses in Ojoda, Ibadan.

The Express View Estate in Lugbe consists of 50 terrace flats, with plans to add 110 housing units to the national housing stock. The project follows a carcass model, allowing allottees to choose finishing options to ensure affordability.

Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, praised the FHA's efforts and emphasized the need for stronger partnerships with various stakeholders to address Nigeria's housing challenges.
