Nigerian politician Bola Tinubu is under fire for sharing an AI-generated photo of a private lunch with Rwandan President Paul Kagame in Paris. The image, circulated on social media, raised doubts about its authenticity, leading to calls for greater transparency.

The meeting was initially announced by Tinubu's special adviser Bayo Onanuga on Facebook, with Tinubu later echoing the claims on Twitter. Dada Olusegun, Tinubu's special assistant for new media, further amplified the incident on Nigerian social media, labeling it a national embarrassment.
