Tinubu Vows to Combat Banditry and Terrorism in Nigeria

On a recent visit to Ogun State, President Bola Tinubu reiterated his administration's commitment to overcoming banditry and terrorism affecting Nigeria. Speaking at the inauguration of the Gateway International Airport Road project in Iperu, Tinubu praised Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun for his investments in security and infrastructure.

He highlighted the need for modern transport solutions and the mobilization of security resources to protect lives and property. Tinubu expressed confidence in Nigeria's future, stating that the foundation laid today would secure tomorrow's prosperity.

He commended Abiodun's economic vision and reforms, including the unification of the foreign exchange system and the removal of fuel subsidies. The Gateway International Airport, which features a nearly four-kilometer runway and advanced aviation systems, is expected to boost trade and logistics in the region.

The event also included remarks from Senate President Godswill Akpabio, who praised Tinubu's efforts to enhance Nigeria's economic landscape.
