Wike Promises Streetlights to FCT Residents Under Tinubu

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), addressed residents in Kado, FCT, on Monday. He emphasized the importance of mutual commitments between the government and the citizens, stating, "You do for me, I’ll do for you." Wike assured the residents that streetlights would be installed along the Deidei Life Camp road, fulfilling part of the agreement made with President Bola Tinubu.

He urged the residents to trust that the government would keep its promises, indicating that the President is expected to fulfill his commitments as well. Wike's remarks were made during an inspection of the Kado fish market, where he reiterated the need for cooperation between the government and the community to ensure that promises are met.
