Tinubu's Re-election Boosted by Yusuf's Leadership in Kano

Media analyst Abdulmalik Suleiman stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's prospects for re-election have significantly improved in Kano state due to the effective leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf. Suleiman made these remarks in Kano while evaluating the political landscape following Yusuf's defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

He noted that Governor Yusuf has successfully united major political leaders and former governors, including Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, and Senator Kabir Gaya, thereby eliminating divisions that previously characterized Kano politics. Suleiman emphasized that the current APC in Kano operates without internal conflicts, attributing this unity to Yusuf's leadership and diplomatic skills.

Furthermore, he highlighted that Governor Yusuf has reduced the influence of godfatherism in Kano, establishing himself as an independent leader who collaborates equally with all political figures, contributing to a peaceful political atmosphere.
