APC Chieftain Abubakar Yusuf Critiques Tinubunomics

Abubakar Yusuf, a former lawmaker representing the Taraba Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has publicly criticized the economic policies implemented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, referring to them as "Tinubunomics." In an interview on Channels Television's Politics Today program, Yusuf asserted that the current economic framework under Tinubu's administration is not suitable for Nigeria at this time. He specifically faulted the removal of fuel subsidies, indicating that this decision has not been accompanied by a comprehensive plan to address the economic challenges facing the nation.

Yusuf emphasized that the administration's efforts have not yielded the desired results, stating that "Tinubunomics" is not working and that there is a pressing need for effective economic strategies to support the country.
