ADC Challenges APC's Corruption Claims Against Atiku

The Presidential Campaign Council of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has demanded that the All Progressives Congress (APC) produce any court judgment convicting its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, of corruption. This demand came in response to APC spokesman Felix Morka's statement declaring Atiku unfit for the presidency due to alleged corruption.

Phrank Shaibu, the ADC's Director of Strategic Communication and Atiku's spokesperson, criticized Morka's remarks as a “grubby attempt to conduct a trial by insult,” asserting that allegations should not be treated as facts without evidence. Shaibu also referenced U.S. federal court records concerning President Bola Tinubu, describing them as resembling a "1970s gangster film," and highlighted transactions involving Tinubu and Adegboyega Mueez Akande.

He called for explanations regarding these transactions, which included a $5,000 cheque issued by Tinubu to Akande's wife and other financial dealings.
