Tompolo Launches Campaign Support Movement in Borno

On September 23, 2026, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, officially launched the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Maiduguri, Borno State, to mobilize support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in the 2027 elections. The campaign unveiled 44 vehicles, 88 speakers, 44 generators, 44 amplifiers, and 44 microphones.

Tompolo, represented by Kestin Pondi, Managing Director of Tantita Limited, urged the people of Borno to reciprocate Vice President Shettima's retention by voting for the APC. He emphasized the importance of demonstrating confidence in the President and supporting the administration's security gains.

The campaign was flagged off by Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, represented by his deputy, Umar Usman Kadafur, who expressed readiness for grassroots support. APC Deputy National Chairman, North, Ali Bukar Dalori, and Borno APC governorship candidate, Engineer Mustapha Gubio, also called for mobilization efforts to support the Tinubu–Shettima ticket.
