Tonlagha to Speak at Africa Women Summit UK 2026

Mrs. Esther Ojochide Tonlagha, a humanitarian, philanthropist, and corporate leader, will participate as a panelist at the Africa Women Summit UK 2026, sharing her journey of resilience, empowerment, and community transformation. She will receive an award for her contributions to humanity during the event.

Tonlagha will be part of Panel 4, titled “Shared Experiences: Real Journeys, Real Lessons,” alongside other accomplished women. The panel will discuss personal struggles, setbacks, and lessons learned from difficult times.

Recently, at the graduation of 41 beneficiaries of the Batch C Skill Acquisition Programme of the Esther Matthew Tonlagha Foundation (EMT Foundation) in Effurun, Delta state, she emphasized that empowerment should lead to genuine economic independence. She announced a N1 million grant for each graduate, along with starter packs and equipment to help them establish businesses, urging them to protect and grow the opportunities they received.
