Former PDP Senator Uzamere Joins ADC, Resigns from Party

Former Senator Ehigie Uzamere, who represented Edo South senatorial district, has resigned from the PDP and joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Uzamere, a close ally of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, cited his commitment to serving the people and aligning with a vision that led to his decision.

In his resignation letter addressed to the chairman of Ward 12, Ovia Local Government Area, Uzamere expressed the need to find a new platform that closely aligns with his desire to continue effectively serving the people. Uzamere had been elected under the PDP platform in 2007 and reelected under the Action Congress Nigeria (ACN) in 2011.
