Nollywood actress Tope Osoba passed away on Tuesday evening shortly after posting “Ogo Tuntun” on her WhatsApp status at 7:23 PM and speaking with colleagues. Her death occurred nearly two years after she publicly sought financial assistance for breast cancer surgery and treatment.

Despite reports attributing her death to cancer, her family released an official statement on her Instagram page on Thursday, asserting that she did not die from cancer. They did not disclose the actual cause of her death but expressed their sorrow over the spread of false and unverified information regarding her passing.
