Tinubu Unveils Tech Strategy to Combat Insecurity

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reaffirmed his administration's commitment to deploying emerging technologies to combat contemporary security threats in Nigeria. This announcement was made during the grand final of the 2026 African Land Forces Forum (ALFF) held at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Tinubu emphasized the need for the Nigerian Army to modernize its capabilities and invest in local production of military hardware to enhance operational readiness. He highlighted the importance of research and development in building capacity across the battlefield.

The event, which was organized in collaboration with the ALFF, aimed to foster regional and global cooperation in defense and security. Tinubu praised the Nigerian Armed Forces for their selfless service and assured that the sacrifices made by soldiers would not be forgotten.
