Trabzonspor Holds Firm on Nwaiwu's €30M Valuation

Trabzonspor has declined offers from Fulham and other Premier League clubs for 23-year-old defender Chibuike Nwaiwu, maintaining a firm asking price of at least €30 million. Fulham's initial offer of €20 million was rejected, followed by a revised offer of €25 million plus €3 million in performance-related add-ons, which also failed to meet Trabzonspor's expectations.

Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan stated that the club has not received any offers close to their valuation and emphasized that Nwaiwu will remain with the team. Despite Nwaiwu's reported interest in moving to the Premier League to enhance his national team prospects, Trabzonspor is determined to keep him unless their financial demands are satisfied.

Nwaiwu joined Trabzonspor from Austrian club Wolfsberger AC in January 2026 for approximately €5.5 million and has since become a key player, contributing to the team's success in the Turkish Cup.
