Trabzonspor Rejects Fulham's €20M Bid for Nwaiwu

Trabzonspor has turned down a €20 million offer from Fulham for Nigerian central defender Chibuik Nwaiwu. Nwaiwu joined Trabzonspor in January from Austrian club Wolfsberger AC and has quickly become a sought-after player due to his impressive performances in the Turkish Süper Lig.

Trabzonspor values the 22-year-old at €40 million, indicating that Fulham would need to double their offer to be considered. The Turkish club is reluctant to disrupt their core squad as they prepare for the 2025-26 season and aim for championship success.

Nwaiwu has made a strong start in Turkey, contributing significantly on the pitch with three goals and one assist in just half a season. He currently plays alongside fellow Nigerian Paul Onuachu, and there is speculation about a potential partnership with compatriots Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey.
