Transcorp Hotels Revenue Hits ₦100bn in FY 2025, Gross Profit Surges 49%

Transcorp Hotels Plc reported a significant financial performance in the 2025 fiscal year, with revenue reaching ₦100 billion, representing a 38% year-on-year growth from ₦97.04 billion in the previous year. The gross profit also saw a notable increase of 49%, reaching ₦26.03 billion.

The company's subsidiary, Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp), listed on the NGX as Transcohot, has a market capitalization of ₦1.75 trillion. The strong financial results were attributed to robust demand across room bookings, conference services, food and beverage offerings, and ancillary services.

The gross profit margin expanded to 77%, up from 71% in 2024, supported by higher volumes and effective cost management. Operating profit rose by 35% to ₦35.24 billion, while profit before tax climbed by 45% to ₦32.82 billion.

The company also reported an increase in profit after tax by 47% to ₦21.85 billion. Transcorp Hotels Plc aims to continue strengthening its foundation for future growth and enhancing shareholder value through operational excellence and strategic investments in infrastructure.
