Transcorp Hotels' Revenue Hits ₦100bn in FY 2025, Gross Profit Surges 49%

Transcorp Hotels Plc reported a remarkable financial performance in the 2025 fiscal year, with revenue hitting ₦100 billion, representing a 38% year-on-year growth from ₦97.04 billion in the previous year. The gross profit also saw a substantial jump of 49%, reaching ₦26.03 billion.

The company's subsidiary, Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp), listed on the NGX as Transcohot, has a market capitalization of ₦1.75 trillion. The strong financial results were attributed to increased demand across room bookings, conference services, food and beverage offerings, and ancillary services.

Operating profit rose by 35% to ₦35.24 billion, while profit before tax climbed by 45% to ₦32.82 billion. The company's profit after tax increased by 47% to ₦21.85 billion.

Basic and diluted earnings per share improved to ₦2.14 from ₦1.46. Transcorp Hotels Plc continues to strengthen its foundation for future growth, with total assets growing by 14% to ₦159.91 billion and total equity rising by 18% to ₦95.23 billion.
