Transcorp Power Declares N41.25bn Dividend at AGM

At the 13th Annual General Meeting held at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, Transcorp Power Plc declared a total dividend of N41.25 billion for its shareholders. This dividend includes an interim payment of N11 billion, equivalent to N1.50 per share, paid in August 2025, and a final dividend of N30 billion, which amounts to N4.00 per share.

The company’s financial results for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, showed a revenue of N398.27 billion, up from N305.94 billion in FY 2024, indicating robust growth. Chairman Emmanuel Nnorom emphasized the company's commitment to improving lives and transforming Africa through strategic investments.

Managing Director Peter Ikenga noted that the results reflect a steadfast commitment to operational excellence and market expansion. Shareholders expressed concerns about threats to grid infrastructure and called for urgent action from community leaders and government agencies to protect national assets.
