Arsenal Urged to Sign Lacroix as Saliba Replacement

Arsenal has been advised to consider signing Maxence Lacroix from Crystal Palace to replace the injured William Saliba. Saliba sustained a leg injury while on international duty with France during the World Cup.

Frank Leboeuf, a former France international, has stated that Lacroix is a top transfer target for Chelsea and would be an ideal partner for Gabriel Magalha in Arsenal's defense. Saliba is regarded as one of the best central defenders currently, and his absence for four to five months raises concerns for Arsenal.

Leboeuf emphasized that Arsenal needs a solution, whether through a permanent signing or a loan, as they cannot afford to go through the season without a strong defensive option. He described Lacroix as a good defender with French experience who would not require a long adaptation period to the Premier League, provided the price is right and he fits the needs of coach Mikel Arteta.
