Carragher Doubts Barcola as Salah's Replacement at Liverpool

Jamie Carragher, a Liverpool FC legend, commented on the club's transfer strategy, emphasizing the urgent need for a right winger. Liverpool has initiated negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain for Bradley Barcola.

However, Carragher expressed skepticism regarding Barcola's ability to replace Mohamed Salah at Anfield, stating, “No, he plays on the opposite flank!” He highlighted that Liverpool currently has three players (Rio, Cody Gakpo, and Florian Wirtz) who can play on the left but lacks options on the right side. Carragher's remarks were made in response to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Sky Sports, questioning whether Barcola could fill Salah's role.
