Chelsea Loans Runham, Arsenal Pursues Wilson, Palace Misses Acheampong in Transfer Deadline Moves

Chelsea has confirmed that young midfielder Frankie Runham will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Ipswich Town to gain more playing time. Arsenal is in discussions for a potential deal for teenage striker James Wilson, while Crystal Palace's bid for defender Josh Acheampong was rejected by Chelsea.

Runham, a product of Chelsea's academy, has been loaned out to Ipswich Town to aid in his development. Wilson, an 18-year-old striker, is in talks with Arsenal for a potential move.

Chelsea has turned down Crystal Palace's bid for Acheampong, opting to keep the highly-rated 19-year-old defender. Acheampong, who made a substitute appearance in Chelsea's recent victory, is seen as a long-term prospect at Stamford Bridge.
