Liverpool and Arsenal Confirm Signings of Jacquet, Mooney on Transfer Deadline Day

Liverpool and Arsenal have finalized the signings of Jeremi Jacquet and Evan Mooney on the transfer deadline day. Jeremi Jacquet, a defender from Stade Rennais, has agreed to join Liverpool and will complete the current season with the French Ligue 1 side before moving to Liverpool in the summer on a long-term contract.

Jacquet, a 20-year-old with five caps for France U21, has made 18 appearances in the French top flight this season. On the other hand, Arsenal has secured the services of Evan Mooney from St Mirren.

Mooney, an 18-year-old capable of playing in attacking midfield or center forward positions, has made 23 competitive appearances for St Mirren, debuting at the beginning of the 2024/25 campaign.
