The trial of suspended Senator Natasha is set to begin on Monday following criminal charges brought by the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation. Natasha stands accused of circulating false and injurious information via electronic means, including allegations of incitement and endangering lives.

The charges relate to claims made at a public gathering in Ihima, Okehi Local Government Area, implicating Senator Akpabio in a conspiracy to assassinate a Kogi State official. The trial will be presided over by Justice Mohammed Umar, with the Federal Government prosecuting the case.
