Trino Motion Pictures Celebrates 10 Years, Appoints Aseme

Trino Motion Pictures, a leading Nigerian film production and distribution studio founded in 2016, marks its 10th anniversary by appointing Richard Aseme to its advisory board. Aseme, who previously served as co-head of EMEA at Paramount Pictures, brings two decades of experience in global film distribution.

This appointment signifies a pivotal moment for Trino as it enters its second decade, focusing on expanding its international growth strategy and distribution partnerships across Europe and Africa. Over the past decade, Trino has developed a catalog of 16 titles, including 8 feature films, and has achieved significant recognition, including 16 nominations and multiple wins at the 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards.

The studio aims to build a robust distribution network and invest in infrastructure to enhance its global footprint. Aseme's expertise is expected to facilitate Trino's entry into new markets and strengthen its position within the global independent film industry.
