Nigerian Troops Secure Farmers and Clear Bandits' Hideouts in Taraba State

Nigerian troops from the 6th Brigade of the Nigerian Army conducted security operations in Takum Local Government Council, Taraba State, to protect farmers and clear suspected bandit hideouts over the weekend. The aim was to ensure a safe harvest season and maintain peace in the area, following concerns raised by residents about possible attacks on crops.

The Brigade's spokesperson, Lt. Umar Muhammad, highlighted the proactive measures taken to safeguard lives and properties, especially during the critical harvest period.

Brigadier General Kingsley Chidebube Uwa reassured residents of adequate security measures and emphasized the Army's commitment to preventing criminal elements from disrupting farming activities.
