Nigerian Army Rescues Abducted Women and Children

Nigerian Army troops deployed in Operation Fansan Yanma have successfully rescued nine individuals, including women and children, who were abducted in Sabon Birni Local Government Area, Sokoto State. The operation, following credible intelligence on terrorist movements, led to the neutralization of several terrorists in an ambush in Shinkafi LGA, Zamfara State.

The rescued victims, comprising three adult females and six underage children, were immediately taken to the General Hospital in Shinkafi for medical attention. Additionally, the troops recovered weapons, ammunition, and other items belonging to the terrorists during the operation.
